Smart Art + Craft is changing what a craft store looks like. Every year, we keep thousands of pounds of art supplies out of landfills and give them a second life with CRAFTERS, teachers, and students ready to create.

Our work is built on three main ideas: Employ, Reuse, and Create.

  • Employ: We offer meaningful work to adults with disabilities, helping them build job skills, gain confidence, and connect with the community.

  • Reuse: We save and redistribute extra art and craft materials. This supports a circular economy that benefits both the planet and the creative people who use the supplies.

  • Creativity: We encourage everyone to explore their creative side. We prove that using rescued, sustainable materials can lead to truly amazing ideas through our classes and community outreach programs.
